Through archival footage, interviews, and Lorde’s own powerful voice, A Litany for Survival: The Life and Work of Audre Lorde traces her journey from her early years in Harlem to her influential role in movements for racial justice, feminism, LGBTQ+ liberation, and social change.

The film reveals how Lorde’s fearless writing and activism challenged systems of oppression while affirming the power of identity, community, and self-expression, leaving an enduring legacy that continues to inspire activists, artists, and readers around the world.
